The challenge
A tour operator needed its whole catalogue online. The content nests several levels deep: regions hold destinations, destinations hold packages, and every package carries its own gallery, pricing, day-by-day itinerary, hotels and cruise options. The site had to stay fast, easy to browse from any entry point, and fully visible to search engines.
What mattered most
- 1A catalogue three levels deep
- 2Fast from any entry point
- 3Fully visible to search engines
What we built
01Architecture
A catalogue three levels deep
Regions contain destinations, and destinations contain packages. Every level is its own page with its own routing and metadata, so a visitor arriving from search at any depth still lands somewhere coherent.
02Content
Packages with everything attached
Each package brings together an image gallery, pricing, a day-by-day itinerary, hotels and any cruise legs from separate sources, into one page that loads quickly and reads clearly.
03Maps
An animated map of the route
The path a trip takes is drawn on a map instead of listed, so the shape of the journey is clear before reading a single itinerary line.
04Sales
Find an agent on the map
A geographic agent finder takes a visitor from browsing a package to a named person near them, without dropping into a contact form first.
05SEO
SEO at 100%, on-page and off-page
Metadata and structured data per template, canonical handling for content reachable through more than one route, and internal linking that keeps a catalogue this deep fully crawlable, audited and tracked in SEMrush.
06Next.js
Next.js used for what it does best
Rendering chosen per route rather than globally, typed data end to end, and images, fonts and metadata handled by the framework, so the catalogue stays fast as it grows.
The outcome
A deep travel catalogue that is easy to browse from any entry point, fast on every page and fully visible to search engines.
